2024 | DOCUMENTARY | RATING: 8 to 80 years old
The documentary Make it Happen – A Bigger Journey the world doesn't offer answers, but it challenges young and old alike to reflect and act.
A documentary that has been shown to various organizations, companies, municipalities, associations, and schools, inspiring everyone to make things happen.
The goal was simple: to seek energy and enthusiasm beyond the "crisis" and "debt," to connect with positive people, to be inspired by entrepreneurs, both in business and in life, to learn from people who overcame all kinds of adversity and who, more than creating companies or promoting projects, made things happen by facing the present and the future with optimism and the ability to dream.
You know this story that shows us that making things happen is within our reach, as long as there is dedication and commitment.
1 year | 23 countries | 4 continents | + 126 thousand kilometers
alone with a backpack on my back | talking to whom make it happen
The objective was clearly defined: to seek the energy and motivation of entrepreneurs to overcome life's difficulties and the crisis.
André had no doubt that the desire to meet positive people and be inspired by entrepreneurs who faced challenges and achieved their dreams would make this experience one of the most enriching of his life.
The journey wasn't easy. He faced difficult situations, such as being robbed, sleeping on the streets, and eating canned tuna. But this only fueled his determination to record stories of overcoming adversity and gather experiences in societies and cultures with very different contexts from his own.
In each place, I found people who, despite adversity, were united by a common desire: to make things happen. This journey, full of challenges and discoveries, serves as a reminder that we can transform realities, both our own and those of others.

Pedro Vieira, Marketing Director Zome
The presentation is a reflection not only of that past year full of adventures but also of everything André has built up to now. And having the opportunity to see it (the documentary) is quite motivating.
Joana Borba, Event Organiser
André Leonardo's visit to our school was a remarkable and conflicting moment. On the one hand, he managed to keep an audience of 115 students focused and stirring emotions during the documentary presentation. On the other hand, during the question and answer period, his oratorical skills led to numerous questions (probably more than he expected), and by answering them, he swayed the students.
They would answer for him.
Libânio Silva, 1st Cycle teacher
Born in Angra do Heroísmo, he demonstrated his initiative from an early age. At six years old, he created a door-to-door flower sales business, and at 24, he sold everything he owned, raised sponsorships, and embarked on a solo expedition around the world to learn about all types of entrepreneurs.
He began sharing his message in schools and today, 10 years later, he is one of the most recognized executive trainers and keynote speakers in Portugal. A lecturer at ISCTE-Executive Education and coordinator of the Empowerment postgraduate program, he has conducted lectures and training sessions for over 150,000 people in nine different countries. He holds a Master's degree in Management from ISCTE-IUL and specializes in behavioral skills, motivation, strategy, entrepreneurship, and public speaking.
He is the author of the best-selling entrepreneurship book in Portugal, "Faz Acontecer" (2015), has visited almost 50 countries, generated thousands of euros for social purposes, and helped hundreds of people pursue their dreams and realize projects through his various programs. He has established contact with more than 400 top managers and successful entrepreneurs worldwide, allowing him to extract vital lessons and teachings that he carries with him in his actions.
