His name is Ricardo Soares, he's Portuguese, he's 17 years old and he employs 4 people in Figueiró dos Vinhos!
It was during the Websummit that I met Ricardo Soares. Many months ago I passed through Pedrógrão Grande where lectured for high school students. Ricardo was in the audience but, if I remember correctly, we didn't speak that day. A few days later, he sent me an email asking for some tips for future projects and ideas. We've been in touch ever since and I'm honoured to see Ricardo achieving the results he sets out to achieve. In fact, I'm proud to meet young people (a category I still like to include myself in) who are strong, courageous and not afraid to take the plunge. Crazy to some, visionaries to others. For me, they are undoubtedly a force of nature.
