Ten internationally and nationally renowned speakers will be at the Praia da Vitória in the Azores at the “Faz Acontecer Talks” conference to motivate Make It Happen!
“Faz Acontecer Talks - Praia 2017” aims to reach people and awaken entrepreneurship. This event, which began in 2011, is now in its third edition and its main aim is to spark, provoke, arouse emotions and inspire participants to make things happen.
In an informal, uncomplicated and incisive way, we want this to be not just another entrepreneurship conference, but an event where experiences, unique life stories, experiences and ideas are shared eye-to-eye.
An event for everyone, from 8 to 80 years old, who believes, as we do, that they can and should be entrepreneurs in business but above all in life!
“The event will feature three panels and ten speakers. In the first panel, entitled ‘Attitude’, three speakers will tell their life stories, while in the second, on the theme of ‘Entrepreneurship’, four speakers will present their projects. The last panel is dedicated to ‘reflection’. The speakers are not coming to tell business stories, but to tell us their life stories. The aim is to share experiences that are extremely enriching for everyone involved, speakers and participants alike,” explained André Leonardo.
Tim Vieira (CEO of Bravegeneration), Joe Best (Chef), Pedro Miguel Dias (CEO Piranha Tattoo), Mafalda Ribeiro (Journalist), Genuíno Madruga (Sailor and CEO of the restaurant “Genuíno”), Fernanda Freitas (Journalist and CEO Eixo Norte-Sul), Fernando Alvim (Presenter), João Benedito (CEO of PersonalLine and former international futsal athlete), Ana Cardoso (journalist, author and sociologist) and Marcos Piangers (Author of the best-seller “Papai é Top”).
“Faz Acontecer Talks” - Praia 20017 will end with a party in the town's bars, culminating in a performance by DJ Fernando Alvim at the local discotheque.
Tickets will be on sale from 21 March at the Terceira Island Youth and Arts Academy, at the Angra Travel agency and on the event's website, accessible at http://praia2017.fazacontecer.pt/
The event, organised by André Leonardo, is being promoted in partnership with Praia da Vitória City Council and the PraiaLinks business incubator.
